Ecoles Centrales Group
A Strong Group of 5 "grandes écoles d'ingénieurs"
The Ecoles Centrale Group, in France, bring together : Centrale Lille, Centrale Lyon, Centrale Marseille, Centrale Nantes and Centrale Paris.
With more than 1800 graduating engineers per year and more than 2000 researchers, the Ecoles Centrale Group is on a par with the major European or American universities.
The 5 schools have the same goals, that is :
- The harmonisation of training projects and the increase of student exchange, especially concerning the application programmes in third year.
- The co-ordination of research policies and the confirming of their complementarity.
- The development of industrial relations and the implementation of experiences in an international environment in order to promote the concept of "Ecole Centrale" abroad.
Such an alignment will give Centrale Nantes the possibility to promote its reputation internationally, a reputation of the high level of professionalism of former students currently employed in almost every economic sector : aero-nautics and aerospace, motor industry, building and public works, electronics, computer science, engineering, mechanics, nuclear power, off-shore, petrol, scientific and technical research...
Creation of "CENTRALE BEIJING"
Centrale Beijing opened its doors in September 2005, while accomodating in a first stage of promotions from 100 to 150 pupils.
