Learning How to Work in Autonomy
The alleged educational choice of the Ecole Centrale of Nantes to delegate more autonomy to student engineers in their training is apparent in courses called work in autonomy, also called TA. These courses represent 25 % of the programme. They take place in all disciplines in the first term, and then in blocks of half a day from February onwards, these courses are the object of an agreement between each student and his or her TA tutor in each course. The results of this work in autonomy are subject to the examination board's evaluation. The total of the work in autonomy must be validated in order to pass on to second year.
The Autonomous Studies (TA) in 2nd Year
The autonomous studies represent at least 25 % of the programme, and are organised according to the same principles as in first year.
The Autonomous Studies in third Year
The autonomous studies represent at least 25 % of the programme, and are
organised according to the same principles as in first year.
