PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Application process and eligibility

The admission procedure involves 2 steps:

Step 1: Eligibility

To be admitted as first year students, applicants must meet Centrale general entrance requirements, which means a very solid scientific background. Therefore, Mauritius Ecole Centrale' students should match the high quality of academic preparation found amongst most engineering students.
Applications must include a statement of purpose (one/two pages), a CV and a complete academic transcript. Applications should be sent to mauritius.campus@ec-nantes.fr

Applications are assessed based on:
- the academic background of the applicant,
- the results obtained during secondary school studies. Applicants will be judged on their level in Mathematics, the Sciences and English.
A shortlist of pre-selected candidates will be drawn up.

Step 2: Admission

Shortlisted students will be invited to an interview to assess their motivation to study at Ecole Centrale Mauritius campus and the relevance of their career objectives.
A final committee makes admission decisions based on the two steps described.
