Centrale Nantes is a member of the CGE Conférence des Grandes Écoles.

The CGE brings together higher education and research institutions in France and abroad which train their graduates with a view towards excellence, in partnership with the business world, economic players and civil society.

The CGE accredits its members' educational programmes (post-master Master's, MSc, BADGE) and uses its quality label as a guarantee that these programmes meet the expectations of the labour market and to promote the development and influence of all forms of higher education and research institutions both in France and abroad with a view towards excellence. The label guarantees the courses' vocational focus, rigour and technical nature. It allows students to develop their strengths and is a springboard for their professional career.

Its role is to:

  • Build up internal information, cooperation and solidarity between its members
  • Promote schools nationally and internationally
  • Develop training courses and research
  • Further initiatives of common interest in dealings with government authorities
