Mechanical Engineering - Engineering Specialism

Training field engineers, with strong managerial skills and techniques particularly in mechanics. They will go on to exercise their profession in the following fields: production, methods, industrialisation, quality etc.

Programme Overview

  • Sciences and techniques of the specialism: mathematics, applied and theoretical mechanics, Finite Element Method
  • Engineering sciences: electricity, applied and network computer science, instrumentation, fluid mechanics
  • Social Sciences for the workplace: management and organisation, the legal and social environment.
  • Economics and industrial organisation: business strategy, project management, ergonomics
  • Career planning and international training: communication in English, international work placements

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a two-year post-secondary diploma (DUT - diplôme universitaire de technologie or BTS - brevet de technicien supérieur) preferably in one of the following fields:

  • Quality, logistics and organisation
  • Materials Science and Engineering
  • Physical measurements
  • Industrial product design
  • Shipbuilding
  • Industrialisation of mechanical products
  • Industrial Maintenance
