Science Village 2019: health

Workshop - Experiment with Animal Physiology •  Inra & Oniris

The veterinary students at Oniris no longer resort to live animals to learn animal physiology, but rather computer interfaces modelling the main functions of the body and experimental sequences.

Conference - Theranostics, towards personalized nuclear medicine • ARRONAX

Exhibition on the new medical concept of Theranostics and the use of a particle accelerator for medical purposes such as the Arronax cyclotron.

Participatory workshop - With total subjectivity ... Your opinion counts on… the sea, (de)growth, art, the environment • Maison des Sciences de l’Homme Ange

• 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm
Subjectivity guides our behaviour in all areas. A better understanding of this dimension to better understand the human being was the goal set at the beginning of the last century by the scientist William Stephenson, for which he developed an innovative and fun method.
Not only can you find out about the results of past or ongoing studies, but you can also test this method and express your subjectivity on one (or more) of the four proposed themes: the sea, (de)growth, art, the environment.

Escape Game - Health'Scape game: in search of the lost vaccine • École de l’ADN (Terre des Sciences)

A virus is spreading rapidly on all continents; it is impossible to stop. All hopes are pinned on Professor Don Van Aschel, known for his work on immunization. The professor is thought to have found the vaccine formula before mysteriously disappearing .... You have 30 minutes to follow the trail left by Don Van Aschel and find the lost vaccine.

This interdisciplinary project, in law, sociology and history, is based on the production, cross-matching, use and protection of health data. Questions are being asked about:
  • the possible uses of multiple data concerning the health of individuals,
  • the harvesting of data over time from a historical perspective,
  • the benefits and risks associated with the use of this kind of data.

Workshop - A MOOC to explain cancer • Lycée Clémenceau

This is a MOOC conducted as part of the 2019 Research Passport by two high school classes, on cancer, in collaboration with CRCINA researchers.

Workshop - Saving Private Barack • Centrale Nantes and Nantes University Hospital

Don't panic! Stand back! Let the researchers through! Since the press is aware that President Obama is waiting for a kidney transplant, it is almost impossible to get into the hospital. Fortunately, now that you're here, we hope to find a compatible donor quickly. All the necessary material has been installed for you. You are our last remaining hope!
