Research, Training and Innovation Programmes

Centrale Nantes is actively involved in a number of Research, Training and Innovation Programmes:
 
  • Atlanstic 2020 is a 5-year programme led by the University of Nantes. It federates the regional ecosystem in digital sciences to rise to the challenges of the digital revolution, to improve the visibility and attractiveness of the digital sector in the Pays de la Loire region and to cope with the high demand for workers in this sector.   • EIT Manufacturing is one of the Innovation Communities of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, an independent EU body, which was set up in 2008 to strengthen Europe’s ability to innovate. EIT is an integral part of Horizon 2020, the EU’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation and the only such initiative to fully integrate business, education and research.EIT Manufacturing aims to bring European manufacturing players together in innovation ecosystems that add unique value to European products, processes and services and inspire the creation of globally competitive and sustainable manufacturing.   • Ouest Industries Créatives is a collective regional initiative aiming to become, by 2020, a centre of excellence in research, training and innovation on the transformation of creative industries in the Pays de la Loire region. It is led by the University of Nantes and co-run with the Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique, in partnership with 13 regional players in research, training and innovation, including Centrale Nantes.   • WEAMEC (WEst Atlantic Marine Energy Community) brings together some thirty research institutions and laboratories (including Centrale Nantes, the University of Nantes, IRT Jules Verne, the EMC2 cluster, etc.) and around sixty companies in the Pays de la Loire region. More than 60 companies at national and international level work in collaboration with WEAMEC's academic and industrial partners. Learn more
