NExT Initiative: "Attractivity" call for applications

The aim of this call is to attract new researchers and research teachers to the Nantes site, thanks to the NExT Junior Talent and NExT Senior Talent schemes.
Eligible expenses over 3 years include:

NExT Junior Talent: funding of up to €495k for: the researcher's salary, the research team and support costs;
NExT Senior Talent: funding up to €520k for: research team and support costs.

To answer this call, applicants must:

Contribute to the excellence of the Nantes site in NExT's two main disciplinary areas of NExT: industry of the future and health of the future;
or contribute to the development of Nantes University, especially internationally, through its academic focus in humanities and social sciences "Making society: identity(ies) in question".

HR Excellence in Research Award

The European Commission granted the HR Excellence in Research Award to Centrale Nantes on 18 November 2021. This award aims to guarantee the attractiveness of research careers and to improve the recruitment and working conditions of researchers throughout Europe. In this context, Centrale Nantes aims to:

uphold the principles set out in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers
provide visibility in our recruitment policy according to the principles of "Open, Transparent and Merit-Based Recruitment"
make progress in our recruitment and career management practices
support and promote the mobility of researchers
offer an attractive working environment for our staff involved in research.

Connect Talent: International Call for Applications (Senior Faculty)

This call for applications is aimed at operations to attract researchers and research professors and is intended for world-class researchers, alone or with a team, with a view to accelerating the development of an existing topic that is considered as strategic in the region, in particular production technologies, healthcare, etc... as well as cross-cutting topics in digital technologies, electronics and the human and social sciences.

A word-class researcher means a leading scientist with unquestioned recognition: quality of scientific production, number of citations, international openness or distinctions.

The “Connect Talent” call for applications gives priority to having this leading scientist set up for the long term at a laboratory in the Pays de la Loire region.
