Centrale Nantes Executive Education, in partnership with Pôle Emploi (Employment Centre) and Fafiec, is launching the 4th edition of its "Web Developer" programme. The training course enables the dozen participants selected to acquire and develop technical and cross-functional skills to work in web development, systems architecture and development.

The 14 weeks (400 hours of training*) that the participants will spend on the Centrale Nantes campus should constitute an extremely professional and rewarding experience given the synergies between trainees, trainers and companies.

Since the first edition in June 2016, 46 jobseekers - aged between 23 and 59 years old - have trained to be web developers at Centrale Nantes. This programme, which was created to meet the recruitment needs of digital businesses in the Pays de la Loire region, has achieved its objective with an 86% employment rate. Companies such as Capgemini, Kosmopolead, Micropôle, CGI, ASI, and Apside have recruited "Web Developer" trainees at the end of their course.

We are expecting around 80 to 100 applicants at the information meeting on Wednesday 16 May. This meeting is a real opportunity for jobseekers seeking employment or retraining to get the training they need and to meet the companies that are recruiting.

ASI, APSIDE, KOSMOPOLEAD and CAPGEMINI are participating in this programme.

To register for the information meeting on Wednesday 16 May 2018, please send your CV and cover letter to: executive-education@ec-nantes.fr no later than Monday 14 May 2018.

WANTED: jobseekers who have at least two years of higher education in science, an interest in the digital sector; some knowledge of computer science, algorithms and programming.

* The cost of the training programme is met by Pôle Emploi and Fafiec. Trainees continue to receive their jobseeker's allowance during the training programme.

NB Fafiec is the collection agency for apprenticeship tax for the engineering, digital, consultancy and development sectors. It deploys the funds collected to finance training schemes.
