Concours ATS

Entrance examinations for the engineering programme

This entrance examination is only open to ‘classe préparatoire’ students from the ATS* stream. ATS ‘classes préparatoires’ for BTS* or DUT*: holders of a ‘DUT’ or a ‘BTS’, prepare for the entrance examination to engineering schools in a one-year course.
15 places available.
NB: International students who have not followed classes préparatoires are not eligible to apply via the Concours ATS. They can apply for the engineering programme as part of a double degree (via a partner institution) or through the CASTing entrance examination.

Pre-register online from 13 February to 12 March 2020

  • registration closes at midnight on 12 March
  • no registrations accepted after this date
Applicants must respect the following registration procedure, which applies to both the ATS examination and the DUT/BTS examination, which includes three compulsory steps:

a) data entry and validation (13 February to 12 March 2020)
b) upload of supporting documents (13 February to 23 March 2020)
c) payment of fees (13 – 23 March 2020)

  • Registration will be considered null and void if the all the supporting documents are not provided and/or fees paid by the final deadline of 23 March 2020
  • Candidates can make any necessary amendments to their application online up to 12 March 2020. Amendments must be saved via the "validation" screen.
NB: Applications will NOT be accepted after 12 March 2020. Only online applications via the dedicated website will be accepted.

Written examinations: 11 to 13 May 2020
Oral examinations: from 16 to 19 June 2020
Eligibility board: 5 June 2020
Admissions board: 26 June 2020


*ATS - Adaptation technicien supérieur
* DUT - Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie - two-year diploma, equivalent to a Higher National Diploma in Technology
* BTS - Brevet de Technicien Supérieur - two-year national higher education diploma
