Plan de situation

From July 17, 2017 to July 21, 2017 All day

Following the tradition established by previous ICMMES conferences, short courses are offered on 17 July 2017. From 18 July there will be 4 days of technical presentations.

The technical program of ICMMES-2017 features the following invited talks:
  • Prof. Roland Keunings, Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium
  • Prof. Stephane Fauve, FDS, ENS Paris, France
  • Prof. Guillaume Gregoire, Paris VII, France
  • Prof. Manuel Laso, UPM, Madrid, Spain
  • Prof. Roland Winkler, Julich, Germany

Areas of interest

The conference will focus on computational methods for challenging engineering problems based on mesoscopic methods, including (but not limited to)
  • the lattice Boltzmann equation (LBE)
  • lattice-gas cellular automata (LGCA)
  • discrete velocity models (DVM)
  • gas-kinetic schemes (GKS)
  • dissipative particle dynamics (DPD)
  • smooth-particle hydrodynamics (SPH)
