The "René Houpert" young researchers award is an opportunity for doctoral students and young doctors to present their thesis work to the entire civil engineering university community and thus to communicate some of the activities of their host laboratory.
The award is open to final year PhD students and young doctors who have defended their thesis within the current academic year in the field of civil engineering.

Anass Cherki El Idrissi was awarded this prize in recognition of his innovative work on applying geopolymer technology to soil injection grouts, supervised by Professor Ahmed Loukili and Dr Emmanuel Rozière, both of the GeM (Research Institute in Civil and Mechanical Engineering). The research was conducted in close collaboration with Soletanche (Groupe Vinci) under the direction of Dr. Sabine Darson.
