After last week's entry into the top 200 Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019 - Engineering and Technology, Centrale Nantes has climbed to fourth place in the 2019 L'Étudiant ranking for French Engineering schools.

The Etudiant ranking, which lists 174 establishments, measures over fifty indicators in four major areas of development: academic excellence, diversity of backgrounds, international openness and links with industry. Excellent performance in the latter two areas has boosted Centrale Nantes up to joint fourth place in the 2019 ranking, on an equal footing with Centrale Supélec (Supélec diploma), Centrale Lyon, Ecole des Mines ParisTech, ISAE-SUPAERO Toulouse and Télécom ParisTech.
