Centrale Nantes stands out in the 2018 Étudiant ranking

Centrale Nantes confirms its excellence in the 2018 Étudiant ranking

on December 6, 2017

The ranking includes 164 *CTI-accredited engineering schools which deliver engineering degrees. They recruit students either after high school for five years of study, or, after two years of ‘classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles’ or a two-year university course for three years of study. To constitute this ranking, the Étudiant relied on certified data from the CTI and the CDEFI (Conference of Deans of French Schools of Engineering) as well as on a questionnaire sent during the summer of 2017.
The questions related to the 2016-2017 academic year and the 2017 fall enrolment.
Schools are ranked according to their total number of points and are assigned to four groups: A + (from 49 to 65 points), A (from 37 to 48 points), B (from 27 to 36 points) and C (from 1 to 26 points).

The Étudiant website has just published its 2018 ranking of engineering schools. Centrale Nantes confirms it’s ‘A+’ status, again securing joint 6th place alongside Centrale Lyon in the general ranking of French engineering schools.

The Étudiant closely examined 164 CTI-accredited engineering schools, which confer engineering degrees, with regard to about fifty indicators.

Centrale Nantes confirms its areas of excellence: international openness and close contact with industry.

* The CTI (Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur) is an independent body that evaluates all engineering courses, out of a total of 220 engineering schools accredited by this commission.
