Centrale Nantes plays host to a conference on "Energy and Mobility: vehicle electrification at the heart of energy transition", organised by ID4CAR and S2e2, in Lecture Theatre S on Thursday 12 December.

Following the highly successful first three editions, the "Citylab Hackathon" returns to Nantes, from 19 to 22 November. The fourth edition of Citylab will bring together students of the Centrale - Audencia - Ensa Nantes Alliance, who will try to imagine solutions to the problems proposed by our partners. They will have three days to come up with new services / objects to improve urban mobility.

In line with GDRI GEOMECH's research activities, the GeM is organising a workshop at Centrale Nantes from 18 to 20 November 2019 on: "Advanced methods for the characterization of the durability of porous media".

A presentation by Camille Jeunet, CNRS research fellow at the CLLE laboratory, University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès.

Centrale Nantes is a member of EIT Manufacturing, which will hold its inauguration event in Paris Saclay on 7 November.

Currently visiting the AAU Laboratory at Centrale Nantes, Pietro FLORIO, Lecturer in Building Physics at EPFL (Switzerland), will give a lecture entitled "The social dimension of ecological transition" on 17 October 2019 in lecture theatre S from 10.15 am to 12.15 pm.

Dr Maria Miteva (CiTCoM Cnrs/Inserm, Paris) will give a conference at Centrale Nantes for bioinformatics students and biologists on structural bioinformatics and drug metabolism. Objective: Harnessing structural bioinformatics to predict drug /metabolizing enzyme interactions.

Centrale Nantes is hosting a Science Village at the beginning of October and opening its doors to the public.

Centrale Nantes is playing host to the HFES (Human Factors and Ergonomics Society) international conference from 2 to 4 October 2019. HFES (Human Factors and Ergonomics Society) is the world's largest scientific association in human factors / ergonomics.

With the support of GDR-EMR, GDR-EGRIN (CNRS), Inria and Amies, the conference "Simulation and Optimization for Renewable Marine Energies" will be held in Roscoff from 2 to 5 July 2019 at the Research and Teaching Centre in Marine Biology and Ecology.

FOWT - where the big names in the offshore floating wind industry meet once a year.

OCEANEXT 2019 is the second edition of the international multidisciplinary conference, initiated in 2016 by the COSELMAR programme (2013-2017). Organized by the 'Institut Universitaire Mer et Littoral (IUML)', the general theme of OCEANEXT 2019 is "Building the future of marine and coastal socio-ecosystems". The conference will bring together international scientists and will emphasize the multidisciplinary nature of the issues addressed.
