ENERGETICS

PROFESSOR: Jean-François HETET

OBJECTIVES: 
To train non-specialized engineers capable of handling transverse and multidisciplinary problems in connection with the energetics.

PROGRAM:

Specific Training in the field of the energetics:

  • The propulsion: internal combustion engine,turbo engines, spatial launchers
  • The power generation: thermal power plants and nuclear power plants, renewable energies,
  • The rational use of the energy (energetic efficiency) and environmental requirements: thermal management in building, the pollution and pollutant treatment of internal combustion engines

The skills are applied to projects and case studies which prepare the students to face actual problems.

ELECTIVE COURSE :

  • Energetics and propulsion: spatial, aeronautical, road, maritime
  • Energetics and environment: transfer and dispersion of pollutants in the atmosphere, new technologies for energy production, industrial problems linked to environmental issues
