The result of their work was awarded the Best Paper Award at the Second International Workshop on the Internet of Sounds (IWIS 2021), organised in September 2021 by the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento (Italy).

Arbia's paper was on the "Validation of coupled SPH-FE hydroplaning simulations using PIV measurements".
