Vincent Lostanlen wins the 2026 CNRS Bronze Medal!
A CNRS researcher at LS2N – the Nantes Digital Sciences Laboratory at Centrale Nantes – Vincent Lostanlen is working on the interaction between ecology and acoustics.

He is being recognised for his work on acoustic signal processing, artificial listening, the analysis of musical signals and bioacoustics, as well as for his fundamental contributions to the interface between signal processing and machine learning.

The CNRS Bronze Medal recognises the early work of a researcher who is a specialist in their field. It is an encouragement from the CNRS to continue with research that is already well underway.

Congratulations to Vincent Lostanlen on this fine award, which highlights the progress of French research and innovation.
