The Times Higher Education "Impact Rankings" 2025 assesses 2,526 higher education institutions against the 17 Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations. Centrale Nantes is ranked in the top 600 in the world.

Centrale Nantes performed well on five goals in particular:

• Promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, employment and decent work for all - top 400 (SDG 8)
• Build resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industrialization and foster innovation - top 300 (SDG 9)
• Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns - top 400 (SDG 12)
• Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts - top 400 (SDG 13)
