Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters

Centrale Nantes is currently involved in five Erasmus Mundus Joint Master programmes, a true guarantee of academic excellence.


An Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM), is a prestigious, integrated, international study programme, jointly delivered by an international consortium of higher education institutions. EMJMs may award EU-funded scholarships to the best student candidates applying under annual selection rounds.

Study must take place in at least two of the programme countries. Course duration is 12 months minimum, 24 months maximum.

Joint Master's Programmes

In addition to the five Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters on offer at Centrale Nantes, a further three joint Master's programmes are delivered jointly with partner institutions.

A triple Master's programme Mechanics of Sustainable Materials and Structures - will open in September 2024 and the EIT Manufacturing Master School saw its first intake of students in 2021/22. The other programme is a former Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programme - EMARO, in Advanced Robotics - that has been continued under a double degree agreements with the partner institutions.

5 Master of Science (MSc) programmes and 10 specialisms

5 Master's of Science (MSc) with a choice of 10 specialisms are also available at Centrale Nantes with attractive scholarship opportunities on offer.

The 5 MSc programmes in Marine Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Automatic Control and Robotics, Industrial Engineering are taught in English and all fully accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education.
