Our International Networks

Over the past 20 years, Centrale Nantes has become a leading institution on the international stage, strengthening its international presence through a number of international networks:

TIME

The T.I.M.E. (Top International Managers in Engineering) Association, launched in 1989, is a network composed of leading technical universities and engineering schools. Centrale Nantes has been a member since 1996. T.I.M.E enables student exchanges among the leading engineering institutions in Europe.

These first rate institutions have a strong international dimension in their research, teaching and industrial relations and they are all committed to international cooperation, student exchanges and recognition of studies abroad.  T.I.M.E. currently consists of 57 members across 25 countries.

Objectives

The main purpose of T.I.M.E. is to facilitate the exchange of students for Double Master Degrees in Engineering. Since its creation, over 3,000 carefully selected students have graduated with two Master Degrees and they have enjoyed rapid career progression in industry and in other fields of activity.
T.I.M.E. double degree graduates are mobile, adaptable and culturally aware.

In addition to double degrees, T.I.M.E. enables its members to:

  • network for EU-funded projects in education
  • identify opportunities for academic collaboration
  • exchange good practices and experience
  • participate in specialized task forces
  • promote their expertise
  • increase their visibility

Members

The T.I.M.E Association is composed of 57 leading international engineering schools and faculties and technical universities from around the world.

RMEI

The Mediterranean Network of Engineering Schools (RMEI) was created in June 1997 to highlight the specific strengths of the Mediterranean region, through increased efficiency, via a network of Grandes Écoles, Universities and other partners of the Mediterranean region.

Objectives

The main goal of the RMEI Network is to take into account training, research, innovation and economic development in a context of student mobility and for the sustainable development of the Mediterranean region:

  • To enable students to become citizens who are aware of societal, economic and environmental issues.
  • To identify, thanks to the expertise of the scientific members of the RMEI institutions, the research themes that are a priority for the promotion of sustainable development in the Mediterranean through innovation.
  • To develop partnerships with the economic world engaged in the Mediterranean region: to learn how to better get to know and work together, to create activities and to facilitate links between students (personal projects, internships and recruitment), research and business concerns.

Members

The RMEI Engineering institutions come from different countries such as: Albania, Algeria, Brazil, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Palestine, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, etc.
