Erasmus+, a programme promoting mobility

Launched by the European Union, Erasmus+ supports the international mobility of students, teachers and staff across the globe. The aim is to create a more open, sustainable and inclusive educational environment by fostering intercultural dialogue and promoting the sharing of knowledge. The KA171 programme, led by Centrale Nantes, offers mobility grants to students and staff at Covenant University in Nigeria.

Promoting intercultural and academic exchange

Beyond the academic enrichment it offers participating students, this initiative helps to strengthen knowledge exchange, educational collaboration and the international outlook of our two institutions. The presence of students from different backgrounds also contributes to the cultural diversity of the campus and encourages the sharing of experiences within the student community.

This exchange marks an important milestone in the development of the partnership between Centrale Nantes and Covenant University. The five students hosted are in fact the first cohort to benefit from the Erasmus+ KA171 project launched in 2024 between the two institutions.
