Centrale Nantes welcomes the 2025 JEMARO Days

Centrale Nantes will host the final edition of the JEMARO Days under the initial JEMARO project (2019-2025) from 7 to 11 July 2025.

From July 7, 2025 to July 11, 2025 All day

It is already time for the annual event of the JEMARO (Japan-Europe Master on Advanced Robotics) Erasmus Mundus Master: the JEMARO Days. This 2025 edition will take place at Centrale Nantes and will mark both a celebration and a moment of reflection, as the JEMARO programme approaches its conclusion in autumn 2025.

Since its launch in 2019, JEMARO has built a unique international ecosystem of education and research in robotics, bringing together academic institutions and students from Europe and Japan. More than 90 students from over 30 different nationalities have joined the programme and experienced a double multicultural experience by spending one year of their master studies in Europe, and one year in Japan.

The 2025 edition of the JEMARO Days will gather the full community – students, alumni, professors, and partners – for a week of inspiring activities.

What’s on the Agenda?

  • Conferences by leading robotics researchers from Japan, Australia, and France
  • Career testimonies from former JEMARO students who have joined industry such as Parrot Drones and Tecnalia, or embarked on PhD research, such as at the University of Luxembourg.
  • A strategic partners’ roundtable to reflect on the achievements of the programme and explore possibilities for its future evolution beyond 2025.
  • A dynamic robotics competition where current students and alumni will team up to program and navigate autonomous vehicles across the campus in a challenge that combines innovation, collaboration, and technical skills.

This final edition of the JEMARO Days promises to be both a celebration of the journey so far and a launchpad for what’s next.
