These meetings, organised with the participation of the Groupe des Écoles Centrale (GEC) represented by Gilles Fleury, General Delegate of the GEC, and Christophe Corré, Director of Research at Centrale Lyon, strengthened academic cooperation between Mahindra University and the Écoles Centrale network. Discussions focused on common strategic areas: joint research, dual degrees, co-supervision of theses and student mobility.

Representatives from Mahindra University, including Vice-Chancellor Yajulu Medury, met with Jean-Baptiste Avrillier (Director of Centrale Nantes), Émilie Poirson (Deputy Director), Vincent Frémont (Director of International Relations), Franck Plestan (Dean of Research) and Linda Sérandour (International Partnerships).

They visited several of Centrale Nantes' laboratories:

The visiting professors – Bipin Singh, Sabeeha Hasnain, Ravi Kiran Donthu, Kalyana Rama J, Mohd Ataullah Khan and Keerthi Katam – explored common themes: genomics, biomedical imaging, digital modelling, air quality and maritime decarbonisation.

The delegation also visited the Le Croisic offshore test site, a unique facility in France for testing renewable marine technologies, as well as Les Machines de l'Île, a cultural landmark in Nantes.

These rich and constructive meetings pave the way for a lasting partnership between Mahindra University, Centrale Nantes and the GEC, bringing together engineering, life sciences and sustainable innovation.
