Documents to bring with you
On arrival at Centrale Nantes, you will have to fulfill a number of administrative requirements with the school and also with some other organisms: enrolment, CAF, OFII, bank, residences, university restaurants etc.
We highly recommend that you prepare the documents below and bring them with you (except where indicated which you can obtain on arrival). Some documents will be requested more than once. Several copies are thus recommended.
- ID: photocopy of passport or ID card
- Photocopy of valid visa or residence permit - for international students outside the EEA
- A recent passport photo with a plain light background (glasses, jewellery and smile allowed). The photo must be in portrait mode with your face in the centre. It will be used on your student card and attendance lists for teachers. .jpeg format between 25 and 35 Kb.
- Proof of CVEC payment
- Photocopy of educational qualifications (Bachelor degree etc)
- Photocopy of grades awarded - Baccalauréat holders only
- Proof of civil liability insurance (attestation de responsabilité civile) covering internships - (obtain on arrival)
- Photocopy of the European Health Insurance Card or private medical insurance which provides the same coverage as French Social Security - for international students within the EEA
- Proof of entitlement of the parent insurer or spouse, with the student's name indicated, or proof of entitlement in the student's name under the parent's insurance number - only for students not enrolled in the Student Social Security
- Photocopy of the work contract - for students with an employer
- Certificate confirming participation in the Defence and Citizenship Day (Journée Défense et Citoyenneté) - French nationals only
- Disability certificate issued by an authorised body (for students with disabilities)
- Conditional notification of a scholarship award - for scholarship students
- Signed Masters' financial agreement (for Master's students)
- Certified copy of your birth certificate (translated into English or French)
- French bank account details (obtain on your arrival)
- Accommodation insurance (required on arrival by residences in order to get your keys).
- Centrale Nantes enrolment certificate (obtain on arrival)
