Centrale Nantes at the T.I.M.E. General Assembly 2021

Representatives from 53 of the 57 members came together for the T.I.M.E. General Assembly 2021, held online and hosted by KTH Royal Institute of Technology on 5-6 October.

Professor Vincent Fremont, Director for International Relations, together with Anne-Laure Fremondière, and Linda Sérandour represented Centrale Nantes at the 2021 T.I.M.E General Assembly.
 
The General Assembly brings together delegates from the association providing a platform to discuss and exchange ideas on engineering education, international collaboration, innovative perspectives and industrial development. Leif Kari, former President of the T.I.M.E. Association presented the activities initiated under his mandate (teaching sabbatical, company involvement, projects funded, data analysis). Two new Members formally joined the association: Ecole Supérieure des Mines Saint Etienne (France) and Università degli studi Federico II (Italy). Rector Guillermo Cisneros of Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales (ETSII) – Universidad Politécnica de Madrid – took over the presidency of the T.I.M.E. Association for the next 2 years.

T.I.M.E. (Top Industrial Managers for Europe)
The T.I.M.E. Association was founded in 1989. All T.I.M.E. members, including Centrale Nantes, are leading technical universities or engineering schools in their home country. They all have a strong international dimension in their research, teaching and industrial relations and they are all committed to international cooperation, student exchanges and the recognition of study abroad.

T.I.M.E. is an international network consisting today of 59 technical universities and engineering schools in 25 countries including Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Russia, Japan, as well as European countries. The association organises double degree opportunities for students from T.I.M.E member institutions under bilateral agreements.
