Centrale Nantes is taking part in the 7th Pays de la Loire Mobility Challenge

Centrale Nantes will be taking part in the 7th edition of the Mobility Challenge in Pays de la Loire from 19 to 23 May 2025. This event is the perfect opportunity to rethink the home-work commute and experiment with alternative modes of travel such as walking, cycling, carpooling or public transport.

The Mobility Challenge (Défi Mobilité) is designed for everyone who already uses ecomobile means of transport on a daily basis and those who would like to try out alternatives to the car during the Challenge week. The aim is promotes ecomobility for commuting between home and campus: walking, cycling, public transport, carpooling, rollerblading... it's all possible!

Staff and students can register on the Défi Mobilité website and indicate their travel intentions for the week of the challenge.

In the run-up to this event, the French road safety organization Sécurité Routière is organizing Semaine de la Sécurité Routière au Travail (Road safety at the workplace week) from 12 to 16 May.

How to take part in the Mobility Challenge?

  • Download the 'Défi Mobilité en Pays de la Loire' application on Google Play or the Apple Store. Don't have a cell phone? Register on the web site.
  • Enter our school's contact code: 84EA
  • Get all the tips and resources you need to make the challenge a success, and take part in the school's events!
  • Record your home-work commute during the week of the challenge to contribute to Centrale Nantes' overall score.

Why take part?

  • For the community: a challenge to be taken up together, in a spirit of sharing and conviviality.

A number of events are being organized for students and staff in conjunction with the Mobility Challenge and Road Safety Week.
