MINI PORTRAIT
Originally from a small town in the North of France, I completed my fisrt two years of engineering studies in Valenciennes. Once at Centrale Nantes, I oriented my studies towards biomedical engineering thanks to different options in the first and second years. Outside class, I campaigned for election to the Students Art Association, and took part in organizing the Créa'Danse choreography competition and the annual gala. I also took up sport again with the Handball team. I then joined the University of Oxford for a double-degree in order to specialize in biomedical engineering and gain international experience.

YOUR CURRENT POSITION
I am a Quality Engineer at Vision RT Ltd in London. My role has multiple facets: ensuring that the product meets international standards for medical devices, conducting internal audits, working in partnership with the R&D team to decide on future developments and managing customer returns (to name but a few!)

WHAT ASPECT OF YOUR TRAINING BEST PREPARED YOU FOR YOUR CURRENT ROLE?
The diversity of the curriculum at Centrale Nantes allowed me to adapt easily to this role. The solid foundations acquired in various fields of engineering give me the legitimacy to work with technicians who are specialized in their different fields. At the same time, the non-engineering subjects, such as project management and communication are proving to be an asset for my performance.

WHAT DID YOU LIKE AT CENTRALE NANTES ?
I particularly enjoyed the autonomy accorded to the students, whilst benefiting from attentive and passionate professors. The wealth of the associative life gives the opportunity to flourish outside class, while the diversity of the options proposed leaves us free to construct a course that suits everyone (including abroad, thanks to the many international partnerships).

ADVICE FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS
If you want to be able to design your curriculum according to your tastes, enjoy excellent courses and a rich associative life, have the opportunity to go abroad easily (and eat crepes every weekend) ... Centrale Nantes is the choice for you!
