Students with Disabilities

An assertive policy

  • The Disability Policy Framework 2023-25 has been approved by the Board of Governors. It was drawn up collectively by a working group made up of representatives of 8 departments and the disability representative (, who also monitor its implementation. • For over 10 years now, Centrale Nantes has offered two places on the Centrale-Supélec entrance examination to students with disabilities.
  • The organization of Centrale Nantes, and mainly the presence of a nurse on campus, provides for individual care. Contact is established from the beginning of the academic year between the nurse and any student with disabilities.

Daily life on campus

  • All departments in contact with students and teachers are made aware about the circumstances of students with disabilities.
  • Students with disabilities have priority access to accommodation at the Max Schmitt residence.

Examination and medical arrangements

  • Examinations can be adapted to cater for disabilities and special arrangements can be put in place from the outset to ensure that students with disabilities receive the care they need.
