The International Relations Department at Centrale Nantes was present for this year's General Assembly of the RMEI Network, organised by Prof. Fatma Ashour (RMEI President), Prof. Anastasia Zabaniotou (RMEI Vice President) and Prof. Olivier Boiron (Executive Director) and held online on 27 November 2020.

The Mediterranean Network of Engineering Schools (RMEI) was created in June 1997 to highlight the specific strengths of the Mediterranean region, through increased efficiency, via a network of Grandes Écoles, Universities and other partners of the Mediterranean region.

The general assembly brought together over 130 members of the network, notably for discussions on the HOMERe programme - a Euro-Mediterranean societal program offering companies a service platform to recruit young Euro-Mediterranean talent for a long internship abroad, thus promoting their subsequent employment prospects in their home country.
