Centrale Nantes - to co-organise the next International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality

Centrale Nantes - AAU and INRIA Rennes are co-organising the next IEEE International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR). It will be held at the Cité des Congrès in Nantes from 9th to 13th October 2017. Online registration is now available.

The 2017 edition of this leading international IEEE conference in the fields of Augmented and Mixed Reality will be co-organised by Centrale Nantes-AAU and INRIA Rennes. This represents a significant mark of recognition for the AAU team.

The organisers are counting on all those involved - whether in academia, industry or the arts - in virtual, mixed and augmented reality in France to make this event a success.

This is the first time ISMAR will be held in France.

In the wake of the IEEE Virtual Reality Conference and the Association for Computing Machinery's Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology, France is now a destination of choice for major Virtual and Augmented Reality conferences.

ISMAR 2016 was held in Mexico from 19 to 23 September.
