Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts

Centrale Nantes decided to assess the current state of integration of sustainable development into its initial and continuing training courses, and to clarify the contribution of study programmes to sustainable development objectives (Sustainable Development Action Plan - 2021-2025).

Course supervisors have thus pinpointed 2 key SDGs to which their courses contribute.

SDG 13 is one of the most cited for the general engineering programme.

    Centrale Nantes has a 40-acre (16 hectares) campus with large lawns and wooded areas on the banks of the Erdre River and an offshore test site (SEM-REV off the coast from Le Croisic), managed by the Open-C Foundation.The green spaces on campus are managed by a public contract, supervised by the Facilities Department.

  • Sustainable mobility

    The Centrale Nantes campus, located at 1 rue de la Noe, is served by public transport (tramway, bus) and several bicycle lanes to facilitate the mobility of the 2,300 students and 600 staff, faculty and startup personnel on campus.
