Engineering Programme Enrolment and Re-enrolment
Enrolment Procedure
Online enrolment (and re-enrolment) as well as fee payment are completed online, allowing rapid delivery of your enrolment certificates.Online (re-)enrolment commences mid-August, you will receive an email from the Student Affairs office.
- Tuition Fees

Tuition fees are set each year (in July) by ministerial decree.
Students enrolled for the first time in September 2018 to 2022 inclusive: €2,500
Students already enrolled in the engineering curriculum prior to September 2018: €600.
Students in receipt of a state scholarship and wards of the state are totally exempt from these fees.

- CVEC*
- In order to enrol in higher education you must produce proof of CVEC payment. CVEC is your annual contribution to student and campus life. The CVEC contribution applies to double degree students, but not to executive education students or students on a semester or year exchange programme.
To pay your CVEC contribution and obtain proof of payment:
- Login to / create an account on messervices.etudiant.gouv.fr
- Indicate 'NANTES' as your city of study
- Pay your CVEC contribution
- Receive proof of payment

- The following documents must be uploaded during online enrolment:
- ID: photocopy of passport, ID card or driving licence
- A recent passport photo with a plain light background (glasses, jewellery and smile allowed). The photo must be in portrait mode with your face in the centre. It will be used on your student card and attendance lists for teachers. .jpeg format between 25 and 35 Kb.
- proof of CVEC payment
- Photocopy of educational qualifications (high school diploma etc...)
- Photocopy of grades awarded - Baccalauréat holders only
- Conditional or final notification of a scholarship award for the upcoming academic year - scholarship students only
International students must also upload:
- a complete copy or an extract of your birth certificate (with filiation) translated into French or English, or an equivalent document issued by a consulate (this document must be authenticated, with a legible stamp). This document will also be required by the Social Security offices.
- Photocopy of valid visa or residence permit - for international students outside the EEA
- Financing / Scholarships
- Students can apply for the following forms of assistance to help finance their studies:
- State scholarships: according to social criteria.
- Scholarships are also available via international agreements, notably with regard to international studies.
- Centrale Nantes Alumni (CNA) - provides financial support to some students according to their circumstances.
- The Fondation Centrale Initiatives selects and finances several dozen student projects per year.
- International students may be eligible for government scholarships from their country of origin.
Around 30% of engineering students meet the social criteria to qualify for a scholarship from the French state.

Located on the school's campus, 500m from the university restaurant and 15 minutes from the city centre by tram, the Max Schmitt halls (la Rez) comprises two buildings and offers single, double or triple flats.
